About me
I'm an Italian-born singer, songwriter, singing teacher and audio engineer, based in London. I started studying music and guitar in 1991 and went on to study singing at C.P.M. in Milan and at Università della Musica and Saint Louis College of Music in Rome.
In 2011 I graduated with a first class degree in jazz arranging and performance from the Licinio Refice Conservatoire, and in 2018 I gained a distinction for my PGCert in Applied Professional Practice (Vocal Pedagogy) at Cardiff Metropolitan University, with Voice Workshop. In 2026 I completed the Audio Engineering Diploma at HOFA College in Germany.
I've taught singing since 2000 in academies, schools, charities and colleges in Rome and London. Today I teach singing and Logic Pro at WM College in Camden, work with adults with learning disabilities, and run my own private studio.
My research on vocal improvisation in the singing studio has been presented at UK conferences including the Singing Strategy Symposium and the Voice Geek Conference. I've written for Voice and Speech Review, The Naked Vocalist and iSing magazine.
As a singer
I sing jazz and pop/rock with several bands, on TV, radio and at gigs and festivals, and I've released four albums.
“His playfulness and vibe when scatting (especially on While You Needn't and Oleo) is infectious and daring. His album has a great choice of material and arrangements, including a beautifully sensitive rendition of In the Wee Small Hours.”
“I love your version of ‘But Not for Me’ where you tell us a story and then scat outlining the changes with musical lines like that of an instrumentalist.”
“Il suo stupendo timbro di voce è adatto a qualsiasi genere musicale oltre che al jazz.”
